New Digs

After much anticipation, we have finally moved!
We have certainly been busy these last two months. It feels good to finally have the transition over with and to be able to settle into our new place. It seems like there is so much to do- there are still several unpacked boxes laying around, and the house itself has need of several improvements- but it is finally beginning to feel like home. It is so nice to have a little more wiggle room- or perhaps I should say more room for our wiggle worm! Andy is a perpetual mover, and as his cousin Morgan pointed out, he is a very speedy "Marine crawler." It is also nice to be a little closer to work and a lot closer to family (especially for babysitting purposes!). Here are some photos of what we've been up to (and I apologize that I couldn't rotate some of them). They are mostly of Andy, but let's face it- he's the cutest one in the family!

Taking a nap while mommy and daddy pack

Andy's first Easter

Andy loves his milk! (Ha, ha)

First solids!

Day trip to Gardner Village. Andy loves to grab everything! And if he can reach it, it will certainly find its way into his mouth.

An older couple actually came up to us and praised us for using an umbrella stroller instead of "one of those big ones that's practically a car." Of course, we didn't tell them we had a bigger one at home!

Looking for new furniture

Meeting the new neighbors

...through the window, of course.

S'mores in the backyard (we have a backyard!). Lance whittled the mallow roasters himself :)

Enjoying the sunshine (there hasn't been much lately)

Unpacking boxes

Working on fixing up the doors with daddy (and that's a hard hat, not a bonnet!)

  1. Andy is getting cuter every time I see the pictures! I'm excited that you finally settled the house and Andy can crawl around the house like crazy little boy should be! :D

  2. So cute! He and Afton definitely need to be friends. They both seem pretty similar...both like to move and put things in their mouths. Does he love to chew on paper as much as Afton does? Because then they'd really be friends.

  3. How exciting! Are you still in Provo? Wish our Becca could come play with Andy. :)

  4. We are in Lehi now. And I'm sure Andy would love to play with some friends closer to his age! Jenny, he and Afton could have a paper party- he LOVES paper of any kind: newspaper, receipts, magazines, you name it. He especially loves to put it in his mouth!
