Every year in March, the BYU Cancer Awareness Group holds a 5 and 10k run/walk to raise funds and to honor former BYU President and cancer victim Rex E. Lee. I am no athlete and certainly no runner, but when Lance and his brother Stuart decided to participate in the 5k this year, I figured Andy and I could tag along. Besides, if I took Andy with me, I had the excuse of the stroller to walk the whole thing instead of actually running it. Neither Lance nor I have exercised regularly lately so to our embarrassment, we were both quite sore and tired afterward... and poor Lance even ended up losing his breakfast. All in the name of a good cause!
The breakfast that Lance lost.
Looks like Andy wants his own number to wear.
I was pretty impressed by the sumo wrestlers...
but you look so cute doing it!
ReplyDeleteYeah, nothing says "I'm having fun" like tossing your cookies.
ReplyDeleteWOOOO! You run? walk? Pushing Andy in wheel? Wooo! I'm impressed what you did! I'll dead less than a mile for sure. Oh boy, it didn't sound good to me. Haha.
ReplyDeleteI guess to clarify, Lance ran, I walked, and Andy (was) strolled. That's why it's so embarrassing that i was so worn out after!
ReplyDeleteHaha, walk is better than sitting on the street! :D
ReplyDeleteHey, you totally have the excuse of having given birth 5 months ago. I know that sounds like a long time, but I have to say one of the surprising things about having a baby was how long it took my body to feel back to normal...just one of a few things people never tell you about bearing children.
